SK & AM le Roux Landgoed Pty LTD (SK & AM) was established in 1972, although the family has been farming on the farm since 1898. The business is based on a 374ha farm in North-West province between Ventersdorp and Coligny. Pullet rearing was started in 1988 with 2000 chicks every 8 weeks and grew to the current 300 000 annually. The most dramatic growth was in the last 3 years when the company took the opportunity to expand when everybody else was cutting back because of bird-flu. Part of this success is because the farm is very isolated with no other poultry farms within a 9km radius.

SK & AM SA is situated between Ventersdorp and Coligny in the North-West province, South Africa. The headquarters is on the farm Rooipoort, where the main activities are:
•    Pullet rearing
•    Sheep production
•    Cattle feedlot
